From the Heart
Design a social marketing campaign to inform, promote awareness and inspire action for a social problem in a multicultural society.
From the Heart is a campaign to incentivize blood donation targeting 17 – 23 years olds (The GenZ). We surveyed and researched why they aren't donating, and the most prevalent reasons were difficulty to access and lack of knowledge on the process. The main component of the campaign would be a Public Relations Event during summer, where Blood Drives would be happening in a popular Vancouver beaches and parks facilitating the process and pairing that with free giveaways and witty material to attract attention. Another key part of the campaign is be social media presence, both in the campaigns own page, but also in collaborations with influencers popular with the demographic - clearing out concerns, talking about the progress, sharing the experience.
